The Hollywood Double Standard

Women’s Equality???


In search of the elusive penis in Hollywood.....

OK this is a rant because I am sick and tired of seeing naked women in every godamned movie I rent! I am not a lesbian so I do not like to see naked women!

*There is almost always a topless woman (if not bottomless, as well) in R-rated movies these days. (oh with the lovely exception of x-men where rebecca romijin was naked save for some paint in a pg-13 movie..yeah -no kiddies shes not naked..what..no thats not a nipple-In these movies her costume consisted of blue makeup and some strategically placed prosthetics on her otherwise nude body.)

Ladies, when the hell do we ever see a naked man? And WITHOUT a naked woman?I am talking full frontal? And the rare times we do, it is a far away shot of a penis, or a penis caught in fly-comedic moment..definetely not sexual. And dont give me crap about brokeback mountain, sure we saw ass and the penis shot...ha...yeah was so far away you would need a microscope..you can bet that if it were a movie about 2 lesbian lovers the rating would have gone up to R/UR/NR and showed closeups of 2 sets of breasts and vaginas. And for more than a split second.

And to the people that will say I am a prude, or that the male body is not as beautiful as the female body or who cares? Obviously you are a man, or have gotten so used to the (double) standard in cinema. men..how would you feel if there were penises abound in every movie you watched? I bet you wouldn't think the movie was so great then.

If there were an equal number of naked men in movies, then I wouldn't mind seeing women every now and again. Whats fair is fair.
