Bathroom Stalls

I personally, have never understood the point of stalls in public bathrooms. I know it would be impossible to make many bathrooms with limited space, but there is no privacy in stalls. You can see between the spaces, and also underneath. Not to mention it is SO annoying when people start making small talk. I was reading an article in the Times about a German tourist. She said she was enjoying NY, but laughed when she saw our bathrooms. She said in Germany, bathrooms have a full door. With all our advancements, we have self-flushing toilets, but we can't have the privacy of a full door? The BEST bathroom I have ever been in was in The Borgata in Atlantic City. There were FULL DOOR stalls. I was so impressed that I took a picture! So even though I otherwise HATE the borgata (more on this in a later post), I LOVE their bathroom. Can't we petition to change this? How much more money would that really be?
